Members of the public may attend the rate hearing in person, which will be held in Public Hearing Room 125 in the John H Winters Building located at 701 W 51st Street, Austin, Texas, or may access a live stream of the meeting. For the live stream, select the “Winters Live” tab.
The rate hearing packets were posted on the HHSC Provider Finance website on December 2, 2021, with the proposed effective dates of March 1, 2022, and September 1, 2022* (updated from previous effective date of May 1, 2022).

The notice for the rate hearing was published in the December 3, 2021, issue of the Texas Register, and is currently on the HHSC website. As indicated in the notice and the rate hearing packets, written comments regarding the proposed payment rates may be submitted instead of, or in addition to, oral testimony until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing.
